Tax rates on the receipt

Prices are gross (VAT included). Under Companies → Manage you control whether VAT appears on receipts; each line uses the stored rate for services and – with this add-on – for products (e.g. 8.1% in Switzerland). Non-liable businesses get the Art. 10 VAT Act notice.

The product sales at checkout module is a monthly Stripe add-on and requires an active Pro or Premium plan. Enable it under Plan / Upgrade in the app.

Exact pricing appears when you subscribe in the backend; your main plan can still be managed separately.

  1. 1 Set up products once Under Products enter name, gross price, VAT and starting quantity – optionally a reorder threshold for refill reminders.
  2. 2 Capture add-on sales in the appointment On a booking with open payment pick items and quantities and pay with cash or card as usual – no tool switching.
  3. 3 Professional receipt for your client Clients get email or print; all lines and taxes are clearly shown.

FAQ: product sales & checkout

Do I need special hardware?

No. Use a browser on PC, laptop or tablet. For slips we support common thermal/receipt printers (e.g. 80 mm); email receipts are enough if you prefer.

Is it traceable for accounting?

Yes. Movements go to the journal; cancellations use traceable corrections instead of silent deletes. Confirm specifics with your accountant.

Can I cancel only the product checkout module?

The product sales module is its own monthly subscription and can be managed separately from your main MySalon plan – see billing in the app.
